Who we are
Priority Tech is an independent technology consultancy based in Toronto, founded by Daniyal Khan. We bring senior, enterprise-trained delivery to clients who want their technology programs run with discipline rather than improvisation.
Our positioning is simple. We've spent more than a decade inside Fortune 500 manufacturers and Canadian utilities, delivering the kind of programs where the stakes are real, the systems are interconnected, and "we'll figure it out later" isn't an acceptable plan. We bring that same standard to every engagement, regardless of company size.
Daniyal Khan
Founder, Priority Tech
Daniyal Khan is the founder of Priority Tech. He brings 10+ years of enterprise technology delivery across cloud, cybersecurity, AI enablement, data platforms, and regulatory programs.
His career has spanned three Tier 1 enterprise environments. He currently serves as Senior Program Manager, Commercial Technology at Magna International, a Fortune 500 global automotive supplier. He previously led IT portfolio programs at Toronto Hydro across OT cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and SaaS deployment. Before that, he delivered regulatory and asset management work at Hydro One, one of Canada's largest electric utilities.
He holds a PMP certification and Databricks platform certification. Outside of client work, he builds AI products — Toolply.ai and Prioritize — that explore the same automation and data patterns he delivers for clients.
Current focus
Priority Tech is currently engaged in one large commercial technology program and selectively takes on additional engagements where there's a strong fit. Our preferred shape of work:
- Programs where enterprise-grade discipline is genuinely needed, not just nice to have
- Engagements with clear scope, measurable outcomes, and decision-makers in the room
- Work that fits one of our core capability areas: AI enablement, cloud migration, cybersecurity, data platforms, workflow automation, regulatory technology
We work on a project basis, with rates and terms scoped to each engagement.
