Thousands of contractor accounts were managed by hand. Old accounts stayed active after people left, and access wasn't always removed on time, which created a real security risk.

• Mapped every contractor account and what each one could access
• Connected account creation and removal to the HR system so access follows the person automatically
• Rolled out the change in phases to avoid disrupting day-to-day work

Outcome

Every contractor account moved to an automated, controlled process. Access is now removed when someone leaves, closing a major security gap.
